There really is no purpose for this post, other than to post pics of my kiddos for memories. As usual, there hasn't been a lot going on, other than the normal day to day activities that keep us busy. Our sweet girl is almost 8 months old and into EVERYTHING! She is now crawling all over the place, which means that she is getting into her brother's toys. This is interesting to say the least! She has started to pull up on some toys and/or couches, etc. It appears that she might just be able to compete with her brother for bruises from bumping her head. That is yet to be determined....
What makes it interesting is that she uses one hand to try and do these things!
She still LOVES her brother so much. There isn't anyone that can make her laugh the way he does. He has no idea how much she loves him. He seems to love her just as much (most of the time). Whenever he is upset, he will say "I want my mommy, daddy, sissy".
But, sometimes he does this.....
Aunt Shannon gave her some measuring spoons to chew on. That kept her busy for awhile!
We found a new babysitter.
I still put her in the Bumbo in the bathtub...but she can really get out of it, so I need to stop using it. Plus...I think her legs might not fit much longer : )
Hanging with cousin Adisyn the day before Kindergarten.
Little P still can't seem to get enough of "Woody Buzz" aka, Toy Story, so in the toy room, we decided to do this:
Our sweet neighbors had an old vcr, and a ton of Disney movies, so we gladly took them off of their hands before they move. Lucky us, they had the original Toy Story as part of the collection. We tried and tried to get him to watch other movies, but he has no interest. Let me tell ya friends, this gets real old. I can now recite all of the movie, along with my two year old son. Sad!
The princess (love her chubby legs) trying to get into brother's bed. Anything that she touches, he quickly gets upset and tells her that "its mine". Ugh...it has already started!!
She wants to be a part of whatever he is doing. She will usually just squeal because she gets so excited.
Pic of my main little man. He always want to see his picture after it is taken. He promptly says that's Pierson Woberts (doesn't quite have his r's down yet).
Oh, and why all of a sudden does my child talk like he is being raised in a barn. My child might ask you "What's theyut?" Or you might just find him saying "I want more miulk"
A few more of his favorite sayings at the moment are "Mommy (or Daddy) what are you doing?" "Mommy (or daddy) wheeeerrrree are you?"
If we ask this sweet boy to do something he says "five more minutes" or "foo (few) more minutes". Wonder where he got those from??
Until next time...
