Ice / Snow

In the Dallas area, we had our annual "everyone freak out and go to the grocery store and buy enough food for a month" ice/snow storm. 

 

We don't get this kind of weather very often so the kids were pretty excited. 

 

 

 

 

Shortly after the above pictures were taken, Pierson ran in and said "mama I am never going outside again...its too cold". 

 

I still had to work, so I did the best I could with this little one....

And she leaves destruction in her path.... 

 

 

 

 

The kids obviously had a little too much fun while they were iced in.  I will not confirm or deny that Pierson's closet and toy room look like this about 60% of the time.

Our poor kids don't have the proper winter attire, so we made it with what we do have.

We busted out of the house and went to Costco...

 and to Best Buy...

I really don't mind this weather, and it was a good reminder that maybe we should just slow down some!!
