Pre-K Graduation

Primose Griffin Parc has been absolutely wonderful for both of our kids.  Pierson will continue there throughout the summer before he goes to Kinder.

This should not come as a surprise....

Ms. Kat and Ms. Shaeli.  Ms. Kat is not at Primrose any longer but we sure do love her.  She has been absolutely amazing!!

Pierson's Pre K teacher was Ms. Craig (on the left).  She has been so wonderful for Pierson and has really taught him so much.  She doesn't play...if you catch my drift.  Our sweet boy needed that :)

Ms. Stewart (in the white pants) is the Private Kindergarten teacher.  One of the funniest stories I heard about my boy all year long was after she got married...  "Ms. Stewart did you marry a daddy with a mustache?"  I died laughing when she told me Pierson asked her that.

Ms. Truitt (far right).....Hallie has paid may visits to her this year.  Um...this is who the kids get to talk to if they are misbehaving!  We know her well!!

This is the best family pic we could get.....

I really can't believe Pierson is going to Kinder next year.  I am so nervous, but I know he is ready!!

Mother's Day / Great Wolf Lodge

Muffins with Mom was a success.  These pics pretty much sum up my kids....

Real life stuff right here...

Pierson made this for me....My favorite is the one in blue which says "she has money to help us buy our house and buy food for the whole family"

I found a Groupon for Great Wolf Lodge and we decided to go on Mother's Day and take the Monday following off.  The kids had so much fun and keep asking to go back.  Truthfully about 4 hours each day was more than enough for our two.  The Groupon came with 6 wristbands so Dot Dot and Big Dave met us for the day on Sunday.

Hallie was hugging Pierson....had to get that on camera!

Pierson was pretty excited about sleeping on the top bunk.  It took him awhile to go to sleep that night, but he did pretty good!

This little princess was OUT as soon as her head hit the pillow!

I kept telling myself that it wouldn't be busy on that Sunday because of Mother's Day, but I was wrong.  We may have lost Pierson for about 5 minutes..ugh.  He decided that he would make his way over to another area like it was no big deal.  Jeremy and I both decided that Pierson needs to have a brighter color top so we can find him easier.  Ha.  We had a great time together as a family.  I will have to schedule another visit soon or my 5 year old will not be happy!

Let It Go

This kid is ALL ABOUT FROZEN.  She has watched it in the past, but she literally wants to watch the movie all day, every day.  She also watches anything related to Frozen on her tablet as well.  The child will sing all of the songs VERY loudly all day.  When she is watching the movie about a minute before each song comes up she goes "mommy my favorite song is about to come on".  Today at the grocery store she was singing "Let it Go" as loud as she could.

I love this pic as it shows off her pretty blue eyes.  My phone camera is not that great, and never shows just how pretty they are!

Pic of Hallie and Ms. Taylor.  We need to get one with Ms. Chessa.  (Small world...Ms. Chessa is the niece of the golf coach from Mansfield when I was in High School)  They are both wonderful as Hallie nothing less than a handful EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.  Also, Ms. Taylor's daughter is in Pierson's class.

Hallie informed her teachers that she had a baby in her belly!  I suppose she came up with this because our neighbor (and even better friend) just had a baby!

The below two pics are from the fall.  I just love them, and forgot to post them on the blog!  Hallie absolutely LOVES Big Dave and she really does enjoy going to Lowes with him.

We have had a few challenges with this hard headed kid lately.  She has gotten into trouble at school and they may have even called me to come pick her up one day.  Needless to say I was so upset about it, and she knew the minute I walked in the door that she was in BIG trouble.

The other day her teacher told her "I am going to call your mommy and tell her"....Hallie could have cared less and responded with "no Ms. Chessa, I am going to call YOUR mommy".

One day at school, she was supposed to be sleeping, but instead she was chatting away.  She told her teachers the following:  "boys have a penis and girls have a gagina, and my mommy and you have big gaginas".  OMG.  Her teachers died laughing.  She learned the difference because...well she has an older brother who is proud of his "business", and proudly dances around before getting dressed sometimes.  She wanted to know why she didn't have one....and the rest is history.

Some of her favorites right now are "you have to be kidding me", and "mommy are there any clowns at the house?" (She is TERRIFIED of clowns).

She will ride her bike and purposely fall off of it and then look at us and say "its ok its ok...I am ok".

After prayers each night, when we ask her what she is thankful for her response is always the same "I am thankful for everything in the whole wide world, Jesus and my family, and my cousins".

We have no shame in using the restroom in various locations.  When you gotta go, you gotta go.  Jeremy and I have one of these in each of our cars for emergencies.

This pictures is comical because I was driving back from my parents house one morning with both kids and it was raining so hard I could barely see.  Of course, Hallie had to go pee, and my only option was to pull over in a parking lot and let her go.  Classy I tell ya....

Hallie literally has bruises all down her legs.  She runs into things, falls off of things, jumps off the couch, falls while running....the list goes on.  Good or bad...she has absolutely no FEAR and will try anything.  She sure is a rotten little thing, but can be soooo sweet sometimes.  When I found out I was pregnant with a girl, I was in complete shock.  Now, I couldn't imagine life without this little spunky ball of energy and thank God daily for her.

Kindergarten Roundup

Kindergarten Roundup was in April.  I ended up just taking the day off and spending the day with my big boy.

It is so hard to believe he is going to Kinder.  I know he is ready, but admittedly I am a tad bit nervous for him.  There are a handful of kiddos on our street that will be going to school together which should make it a little bit easier.

I may have taken him to get a new Lego set just because....

I told him he could pick where we eat, and of course he chose Hula Hut.  They are based out of Austin, but there is one right on the lake near our house.  He LOVES going there.  When we were sitting at the table, he wanted to know if he could come along with me and Hallie whenever we have a day.  He also said that we shouldn't tell Hallie that he got a new toy because she would not be happy about it.

Goodness, I sure do love this kiddo.  Still remember the day I brought him home from the hospital....time goes so fast!!
