The school will email me and Jeremy pictures during the day, and we love getting them. I am biased, but I think they are super cute.
On another note....little Ms. Hallie has developed quite the personality / attitude. I will usually say something like "mommy is a princess" and she quickly replies and says "no I am a princess", or "no I am a diva". She continues to do pretty well with her potty training, actually waking up dry during naps and sometimes in the mornings. Yeah!!
I will admit, it appears that she is slowly but surely running our house. If she doesn't get her way, you better watch out. This sweet child can frustrate Jeremy and I so quickly. She takes it upon herself to scream as loud as she can, push her brother...and knock him down, and give hugs all at the same time. She is absolutely in love with her daddy and always wants to be with him....even when he is trying to go to the bathroom. She only wants daddy to put her down at night, always wants to sit by daddy, and loves to watch all 15,000 versions of "Wheels on the Bus" on his phone. "Daddy" is the first thing she says every morning when she wakes up as well. I am certain this child talks from the minute she wakes up and doesn't stop until she goes to bed a night. SHE TALKS ALL DAY LONG :) She love some of Pierson's friends from school and always calls them by name. I am shocked daily by the memory she has!! She is a sweet "princess" and "diva" and we love her to pieces.
Pierson has an unbelievable imagination and he asks so many questions everyday. He is doing well at Primrose and will move up to the Pre-K room soon. He will start Kindergarten next year...sigh. So hard to believe. He has a very sweet nature and I sure hope it stays that way. Fingers crossed. The only thing he does not enjoy doing is sharing. Lord help us all. He and Hallie can get into it over toys so fast!! He does love his mama...which makes me happy. He usually prefers that I put him down at night. He has to have three blankets on him a certain way, and he has to give a certain amount of kisses and hugs every night in just the same way. He demands that I stand at the end of his bed every night an tell him a story. Apparently my imagination is not vey good, because I am running out of stories to tell. He then tells me a story and tells me every night "I don't want you or daddy to leave me in the house, and don't lock the door". I tell him every night that we won't do those things. He then tells me 5 (yes--he says it has to be 5) times for me and daddy to go to bed. Gosh I love this kid. I am hoping and praying that the constant whining will stop...maybe...soon? Wishful thinking I suppose. He often stops what he is doing and comes up to me and says "mommy I just want to hug you". Ah...love it!!
