His birthday happened to be the last day of school / end of year party. He was excited that everyone sang to him. After school, we surprised him and took him to the bowling alley. The bowling didn't keep his interest for too long....so we moved on over to the game section!
I recently took him to his 5 year checkup and everything went well! Our growing boy is 52 pounds (95%), 47 inches tall (99%), and has a BMI of 16.6 (81%). Dr. Schwartz estimates he will be 6'2" and 220 pounds. Geez!!
A few more pics of P recently....
This boy LOVES blankets. It could be 800 degrees outside and he is still going to wrap up in as many blankets as he can find to watch tv!
Pierson's very favorite thing to do is play Legos. They go EVERYWHERE with us....everywhere! He has tons of them. He really does a pretty good job of putting them together and making up his own things to put together as well. It never fails...we step on Legos everyday. Those little ones can really hurt ya!
He doesn't sit still for long, but when he is watching a movie it will usually keep him still the entire time. He has an amazing memory and is a good story teller. He asks TONS of questions about the most random things. He often asks "mommy is it okay if I look at pretty girls?" I picked him up at school one day and he said he was playing "princess" on the playground and one of his friends Gia kissed him on the cheek. Oh boy!!
Pierson makes friends with everyone he meets. He doesn't know a stranger, and will talk to anyone he meets (which is good and bad).
He is very good with his sister, until she comes through and knocks his legos over. He LOVES his mama...which I am certainly ok with!
He learned to ride his bike without training wheels a few months back and is having so much fun with it! We were amazed at how fast he picked it up. I think that the scooter he had for awhile really helped with his balance.
Pierson is still very sensitive and will easily get his feelings hurt. He wants so bad to play with the older kids in the neighborhood when they are outside. I can tell they are annoyed!
Sweet boy, we love you so, so much and are beyond thankful that God chose us to be your parents.
