Pierson's 6th Birthday

Pierson's surprise bday gift was a trip to LEGOLAND in California this summer.  I really had no plans of throwing a birthday party, but at the last minute we decided to throw something together.  We were supposed to go to the park, but of course it rained pretty hard the morning of.  Everyone came to the house instead.

We had our 6 year well check with Dr. Schwartz and we have a healthy boy.  He weighs 40 pounds (85%) and is 40 inches tall (57%).  He is a big boy.  Dr. Schwartz estimates he will be 6'2" and 220 pounds.  Who knows if that will really happen, but it sure is interesting to hear.

This kid literally eats from sun up to sun down. CONSTANTLY!  I honestly don't know how he eats so much.  He will eat an entire cucumber for a snack.  I laugh about that, but at least its healthy.  He still loves cherry tomatoes, but he also loves his sweets.  He might get that from his mother!!

Pierson continues to be a super sweet kid.  He LOVES his sister and will be the first one to help someone who is hurt, etc.  When playing sports if someone gets injured or gets upset, he will stop what he's doing to go over and check on them.

He still enjoys playing with his Legos, and unfortunately has started watching "older kid" TV shows.  It seems overnight he decided he didn't want to watch cartoons anymore.

He is SUPER affectionate and extremely sensitive.  I don't think Jeremy love that, but hey...he is!

We sure love our Sweet P.
