BIg Dave's (insert age) birthday!!

A couple weeks ago was Big Dave's bday, so Pierson and I headed down to Mansfield on Friday and spent the night, and then Jeremy rode up with Eric and Alicia on Saturday and surprised us.  We didn't know he was coming because he has been studying non-stop for months now. (that requires a post of its own).  Friday he took an extremely long nap of about 30 minutes...sigh, and then we went to Target and Dot Dot got him some new pants for winter and we played on the toy aisle forever.  Friday night was not a good night and P just didn't sleep worth a poo.  I finally got him out of the crib and put him in bed with me.  I may eat these words, but I have no idea how people let their kids sleep in the bed with them.  He had his legs and feet in my face, climbing everywhere, almost falling off the bed, etc.  It was a GREAT night!  Sadly, I am learning that P does not require much sleep.  WHY couldn't he have taken after his momma???

He knows right where the toys are at Dot Dot's house and he tried this hardest to go through every last one of them.

Saturday afternoon, Adisyn was insistent upon making "leaf ice cream" in the backyard.  She is so into pretending these days and it is entertaining to watch!

This pic makes me laugh...He is just glaring at Adisyn!

Halloween 2012

I have not quite figured out how to get a good picture of Pierson.  I assume this is normal because he refuses to sit still.  I took as many pictures as I could of our little fireman, but as you will see below...only a few turned out.  Pierson loves Elmo right now.  I had bought him an Elmo costume and Jeremy had bought him a firefighter costume.  We then realized...that we had a firefighter outfit that we could use, so the other costumes went back.  Obviously from the pictures he was half dressed the entire night anyway, and refused to keep his hat on.  We just sat outside with out neighbors for a little bit and passed out candy.  Surprisingly, we didn't have very many trick or treaters.  This is likely because we live at the end of the street, or because the kiddos don't like my candy??  Who knows.

Helping daddy carve a pumpkin a few nights ago.  Apparently he was more interested in what was in the trash.

Wouldn't you be excited to get a new flashlight, temporary tattoos, train, a new fork spoon and knife?

My little half dressed fireman...

Still LOVES his milk!!

Must have seen an airplane

Quick hug from cousin Adisyn.

Unhappy Minnie Mouse?
Not a good pic but he and one of our neighbors decided it would be a good idea to lay in the street?

Overall, it was a slow paced Halloween, which was probably just enough for our little man.  Next year I will have two little people to dress up.  Should be interesting!
