Halloween 2016

Our neighborhood had their annual Fall Festival a couple weekends ago and Hallie wanted to get her face painted.  She has all of a sudden become obsessed with this.  Pierson on the other hand wants nothing to do with having paint on his face.

We agreed not to put a tongue under "puppys" lips since she would have probably just licked it off.  HA

We started off Halloween weekend with a Fall Festival at Primrose.  Pierson decided to be a Ninja Turtle this night, but the costume was just too big.  Oh well...he had fun anyway!

Saturday morning we decided to be silly...

Started off with a little soccer and Adisyn came to cheer on her cousins.

Hallie changed clothes about 5 times this day...

We carved pumpkins....

My spider....

Alicia's Cat...

The kids played and played...

On Halloween we went to Eric and Alicias and went Trick or Treating in their neighborhood.  The kids were really wanting to go together....

We had a Cowboy, Dorothy and Anna.

The kids got a ton of candy, and Hallie even ended up with a mini pumpkin that she apparently took from someone's house.  This kid....

Growth Mindset

So proud of my sweet Pierson for being one of 8 Kindergartners selected for the Growth Mindset award for the month of October.

That is Coach Moore in the below pic.  The kids seem to ALL love him and he seems like he is so much fun!

He was SO excited that we were there.  He had no idea he was getting the award as Mrs. Shelby wanted to surprise him.  A couple days before this I got a call from the assistant principal and immediately started to wonder "what in the world did my kid do?".  However, he received a positive office referral for his Growth Mindset and he got to call home and tell me all about it!
