Daddy turns 33

Jeremy turned the big 33 on January 4th. Poor guy wasn't feeling to well. This momma baked up a homemade ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. It was quite tasty. A few days before his birthday I went up to Lowes because the only thing he wanted was some peg board for the garage (have I mentioned the garage before). I purchased the peg board (4 X 8) sheets and proudly pushed them on the cart out of the store and to the truck. However, as I approached the truck I quickly realized that I did not have the slightest clue how to load them. I thought about asking the people at Lowes, but long story short, the sheets were bigger than the truck bed. Therefore, I called Jeremy at home, and he and the little man came to help. He just laughed and said "thank you for the effort." Happy Birthday to the BEST husband and father in the world. I definitely couldn't do it without you!

This past weekend our parents along with Eric, Alicia and Adisyn came over to celebrate his bday and eat some Mexican food. But from the looks of the below pic, people really don't come over to see us anymore!

7 Months

Where has the time gone? I say that every month, but it just seems to go by faster and faster. Pierson is now 7 months and growing like a weed. He "talks" a lot, and it sure sounded like he said "da da" the other day. He is pulling up on everything, and he seems to be happiest when someone is holding him while he is standing. He will let go, and then of course fall over, but he is learning. He also thoroughly enjoys standing at the top of the stairs hanging onto the bannister, and will proceed to let go with one hand and then fall face first back into the bannister. It never fails...this occurs at least once a day. He has to learn somehow right? Pierson is not shy about giving us his opinion these days. He is still doing well with his food, although the "texture" foods are not a big hit right now.

Whenever Jeremy or myself is upstairs with him, and the other down stairs, you will often find the little man doing this.... (he "talks" the entire time as well).

Pierson still enjoys his bath time. However, he no longer sits in the below chair anymore because it appears he thought it was a game....

So now he sits like a big boy and has so much fun. Momma sure doesn't like it when he tries to stand up all the time in the tub. He has already bonked his head on several occasions while in the tub. There appears to be a trend starting. I promise I don't leave my child unsupervised :) I blame it on the fact that he is all BOY! Oh, and I know his business is showing, but that is just the way it goes sometime, so please don't judge!

We are now officially at the stage where everything he touches instantly goes into his mouth. He still doesn't have any teeth, but I keep thinking it will happen soon.
