Little Update

The school will email me and Jeremy pictures during the day, and we love getting them.  I am biased, but I think they are super cute.

On another note....little Ms. Hallie has developed quite the personality / attitude.  I will usually say something like "mommy is a princess" and she quickly replies and says "no I am a princess", or "no I am a diva".  She continues to do pretty well with her potty training, actually waking up dry during naps and sometimes in the mornings.  Yeah!!
I will admit, it appears that she is slowly but surely running our house.  If she doesn't get her way, you better watch out.  This sweet child can frustrate Jeremy and I so quickly.  She takes it upon herself to scream as loud as she can, push her brother...and knock him down, and give hugs all at the same time.  She is absolutely in love with her daddy and always wants to be with him....even when he is trying to go to the bathroom.  She only wants daddy to put her down at night, always wants to sit by daddy, and loves to watch all 15,000 versions of "Wheels on the Bus" on his phone.  "Daddy" is the first thing she says every morning when she wakes up as well.  I am certain this child talks from the minute she wakes up and doesn't stop until she goes to bed a night.  SHE TALKS ALL DAY LONG :)  She love some of Pierson's friends from school and always calls them by name.  I am shocked daily by the memory she has!!  She is a sweet "princess" and "diva" and we love her to pieces.

Pierson has an unbelievable imagination and he asks so many questions everyday.  He is doing well at Primrose and will move up to the Pre-K room soon.  He will start Kindergarten next year...sigh.  So hard to believe.  He has a very sweet nature and I sure hope it stays that way.  Fingers crossed.  The only thing he does not enjoy doing is sharing.  Lord help us all.  He and Hallie can get into it over toys so fast!!  He does love his mama...which makes me happy.  He usually prefers that I put him down at night.  He has to have three blankets on him a certain way, and he has to give a certain amount of kisses and hugs every night in just the same way.  He demands that I stand at the end of his bed every night an tell him a story.  Apparently my imagination is not vey good, because I am running out of stories to tell.  He then tells me a story and tells me every night "I don't want you or daddy to leave me in the house, and don't lock the door".  I tell him every night that we won't do those things.  He then tells me 5 (yes--he says it has to be 5) times for me and daddy to go to bed.  Gosh I love this kid.  I am hoping and praying that the constant whining will stop...maybe...soon?  Wishful thinking I suppose.  He often stops what he is doing and comes up to me and says "mommy I just want to hug you".  Ah...love it!!

Lately

We have had a busy start to Spring.  Pierson has been playing soccer again with Frisco Soccer Association.  His age group has 8 games and I think we will only get a total of 5 games in.  We definitely need this rain, but it has prevented us from playing our games.  We had pictures at Toyota Stadium a couple weeks ago.  Goodness, I wish I could have zoomed in on this pic.  He is so dang cute.   However, he was so made when he didn't get to sit on the bench in the front for the team picture.  That is what you get for being tall son....

On anther note...I am helping Jeremy coach this season.  It has been fun.

Pierson had a fun birthday party to go to at Urban Air in Frisco.

He was pooped

We have had lots of outdoor time with all of our fun neighbors.  Hallie is going to have her pic of multiple boys when she gets older  :)

We are so blessed to have such fun neighbors, and a plus is that we are in a cul-de-sac

Sometimes you gotta take potty breaks in the garage....

Daddy tried to help fix a neighbor's car...

And sometimes we actually go inside for those potty breaks.  She is obsessed with sitting on that stool while he goes to the bathroom...

Little missy eating her ice cream sandwich (its not Blue Bell).  This picture was to show her burn.  We put sunscreen on her constantly and she still burns :(

This must be normal....right?

Hallie also loves with Adisyn comes over.  Hallie is quite he princess.  She enjoys driving her jeep, but would much rather have someone else drive her while she checks everything out.

and just a couple cute pics of my boy...

He had a horrible ingrown toenail.  He never complained once about it, and when we saw it we were shocked.  It looked horrible.  Luckily there is a podiatrist in our class at church.  He was so good with Pierson.  I might have taken a new Ninja Turtle as bribery

Easter 2015

I picked Hallie up from school on Thursday, and noticed that she was very hot, (almost 103) and was falling asleep on the way home (very unlike her).  I took her to one of the urgent care facilities nearby and all of her tests came back negative.  They wanted to test her urine.  She was being stubborn so I pulled the handy dandy potty from the back of my car and brought it inside.  (I promise she really does go in the big potty 95% of the time).  That test ended up coming back negative for a urinary tract infection.  Not sure what it was.....

She was not very pleased when we first arrived....

But this made it all better....

I kept her home with me the next day, which meant that she had to miss her school Easter party.  This kid LOVES to put our socks on.

Pierson had fun hunting eggs with his class..

Saturday was a makeup soccer game.  Thiswas one of those games where Pierson could have cared less to be out there....

After the game we played outside for a while with Dot Dot and Big Dave....

We headed over to Eric and Alicia's so the family could be together....

I tell ya...this potty comes in handy....

Dot Dot brought cupcakes for the kiddos to decorate....

Hallie helped take down the bounce house..

Sunday morning, the Easter bunny came for a visit and brought the kiddos a few goodies..

Sadly, this is the only picture I got of the two of them together that day.  It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a pic of them together....

Sweet girl fell asleep on the way to meet my parents Sunday afternoon.  I was headed out of town the next day so they got to play with Dot Dot and Big Dave for three nights.
