Hallie Turns 5!!

Hallie turned 5 on January 23rd!  She was really looking forward to this birthday...as she told me what color balloons she wanted, what color the presents should be, etc.!  What a mess!

My favorite girl!!!

She spent the day with Dot Dot and Big Dave at the American Girl Doll store!  She and Dot Dot share a birthday, so I was glad they got to spend most of it together!  Her only request was that the doll either have brown hair or brown skin!  She settled for dark red hair.  She did not want a doll that looked like her!!

The Gas Out game is so funny!  The kids love it.

Hallie REALLY wanted grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner...so that's what she got!  The rest of us ate Mexican food to celebrate.  HA.

I took Hallie to Build A Bear with her cousin Adisyn, and Jeremy and Pierson went to the Lego store instead!

Hallie is really such a fun kid.  However, when she's not happy, everyone knows about it!  She literally talks from the minute she wakes up until the minute she goes to bed!  We often wonder how someone would want to talk that much...HA.  She is really enjoying private Kinder this year, and it is so fun to watch her start reading.  If Pierson is doing spelling words, she wants to do them too!  This kid LOVES to learn.  I hope that it stays that way!

She still loves picking and pestering at her brother!  She would live outside if I let her. She loves riding her bike and scooter all over the place.  She has no fear and goes so fast on them!  She always wants to have bike races!  She is going to continue playing soccer this Spring, and we are going to try out softball as well.  This should be interesting!!

Hallie was 44 pounds and 43 1/4 inches tall at her 5 year well check.
We love you Hallie girl and thank God for your sweet, sassy, challenging, smart self!!
