Punkin Patch

A couple weekends ago we loaded up the kids and headed to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina.  P refers to it as the "Punkin Patch".  It is only about 20 minutes or so from the house.  Unfortunately, it was SUPER cold that morning, but we still had a good time.  P was pretty excited on the way there!!  Sissy, on the other hand was not a happy camper on the way there.

Just as soon as we got there, P fed some of the animals.  I don't recall a time he has ever done this, and he had the BEST time.  Love seeing my kiddos happy!!

After we were finished with that, I was lucky enough to go on the "chu chu train" with P.  We didn't think he would go by himself, so I got in there with him.  And..for the record it was not comfortable at all.

I attempted to take a few pics while on the train, but I could not get the boy to look at me.  He was taking it all in.  He doesn't look thrilled, but I assure you...he was.

P man also loved sitting on the "big tractor"

After the train ride, well all went on a hay ride together.  I was hanging on to Pierson for dear life as I was pretty sure he was more interested in walking , jumping all over the place, and maybe jumping off of the trailer...maybe.  The boy was CRAZY this day, and he hadn't even had any sugar!!

Hallie looks like an infant in the below pic.  So funny to me because she is a little chunk!!

While daddy and P were eating their hot dog, I was attempting to feed Hallie some food.  She was sitting in her stroller, and I literally stepped around the stroller to the back to grab a wipe, and she slipped out of the stroller.  Yes...wonderful mother moment right here.  Maybe I should strap her in next time!?!  Thank the good Lord above that she slipped out onto the grass and it wasn't very far.  But...thankfully she was okay.  On the other hand, I felt like a complete moron as everyone was staring at me...probably thinking "wow, great mother over there".

Sweet sister after falling out of the stroller.  She was watching bubby eat his hot dog!

Before leaving I was determined to get a picture of my kids together.  However, reality quickly set in and I realized I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old, and that was not going to happen.  I even caught myself negotiating with my two year old over it.  Really??  Needles to say , it did not turn out the way I had hoped!!  I even had sweet sister dressed in a cute Halloween outfit.  Maybe next year!?!

Seriously...could not get him to look at the camera!  This was as good as it was going to get!  Sad, I know!

We had so much fun with the kids that day.  We even ran into a few friends while we were out there.  Luckily they didn't see my child slip out of the stroller.  Ugh...I will probably never forget that.  While it was impossible to get pictures of a 2 1/2 year old who refuses to sit still and a 9 month old who is on the move, we did the best we could.  Love my little family!!
