Christmas 2011 (Picture Heavy Post)

We went to the Carrollton Fire Department Christmas party early on in December and had a good time. They served Babe's Chicken so this momma wasn't complaining. Santa even made an appearance, but little P didn't get his picture with him (the line was too long). I know, call me a horrible mother. P even got dressed in his new outfit from Aunt Boo. It is my understanding that Jeremy played Santa many years ago at the Christmas party but got fired because he didn't say "Ho H Ho" enough. Here is he is loving on his JoJo.

Mom and I took Pierson to see Santa at the mall. He did pretty well, however he gave Santa a couple "looks" and then got a little scared. We had to wait about 20 minutes and the picture turned out cute. Look at P's excitement while waiting in line. Not sure how to upload the pic of him sitting in Santa's lap.

The next weekend Big Dave and Dot Dot took him to see a "local" Santa in Mansfield. This picture cracks me up!! Check out his face. He looks like he is leaving Santa a present himself.

We celebrated Christmas in Tyler with everyone the weekend before Christmas. Pierson received lots of fun things. A good time was had by all.

Christmas Eve morning we headed over to Dot Dot and Big Dave's house to celebrate Christmas with the immediate family. Check out all of this madness before we got started!

Pierson and his cousin Adisyn did their best, and succeeded at destroying the house before we even got started opening presents :)

Jeremy and Eric are the proud new owners of towel dispensers for the garage. If you give my hubby something for the garage he is a happy man. Afterall, that is the only room in the house that is all his. (OMG..you should see what it looks like!!) I just saw Pierson's face at the bottom of the pic...too funny.

Mom and Dad bought a big cardboard house to color. Adisyn enjoyed that, and apparently so did everyone else.

Check out the next pic. Adisyn makes comments about her Aunt Sue's crazy hair.

On Christmas Eve we headed over to Aunt MiMi and Uncle Hal's house, which are my dad's aunt and uncle. We don't get to see them as often as we would like, but we sure have fun when we do.

On Christmas Day, Dot Dot, Big Dave, Eric, Alicia and Adisyn came over for brunch. We took it pretty easy and didn't really accomplish very much. But isn't that the way it should be on Christmas Day? Before everyone got here, Pierson was excited to see what Santa left for him. We contacted Santa and told him that Pierson only needed a couple things. He was a good boy this year, but how much stuff does a 7 month old need? Santa obeyed and brought Pierson a ball pit, and a race car. He loves both of them.

Santa also put some Beano in daddy's stocking...hehe

Jeremy and Pierson or should I say my "perfect husband" and "perfect son" bought me the below package. I couldn't be happier.

The day after Christmas we headed up to Sanger to be with Jeremy's side of the family. Uncle Shane (Jeremy's older brother) had not met Pierson before. He was in town from St. Louis. He drove down with his girlfriend and her daughter Celina, who are too sweet. The best part is that Uncle Shane will be moving back soon to take a new job, and everyone is so excited.

Pierson and his cousin Lexi

We had such an amazing Christmas. We are so lucky to have the family that we do. I pray that God continues to bless our family in the year to come. Jeremy and I are so thankful to have Pierson this year. I often wonder what did before him. Life couldn't be any better :)
