Tubes...Again

Sweet Hallie girl got tubes a couple Friday's ago.  She hasn't had that many ear infections, but the fluid was just happy hanging out in her ears...so tubes it was.  The hardest part about this procedure is the fact that you can't give them milk before.  And...we all know how much this little girl loves her milk and food.

Hallie quickly made friends with the lady up at front...and the tree.

Not sure why I took this picture, but this hospital / medical facility was fancy.  Not sure if anyone has ever been to one of the Forest Park Medical Centers, but they are nice.

And for some reason, I was fascinated by the board that gives each family an update on what is going on with their child / loved one.  Although, I don't think they did a great job of keeping it up to date.

Sweet girl when we got back there...

She was still half asleep and drank her apple juice so fast.

This about sums up her thoughts about the procedure..

Its been awhile...

I have obviously been pretty bad about blogging lately.  I will get on the internet, read other blogs, and then say to myself "I will update mine tomorrow".  And...that never seems to happen. There hasn't been a lot going on recently, just the normal business that comes with most days.  Hallie turned one in January, and her bottom two teeth finally came in.  Now...her top four teeth are pushing through...AT THE SAME TIME!  Fun stuff.

I got rid of my beloved Nissan Pathfinder a couple weeks ago.  I would be lying if I said I didn't get teary eyed when it was time to say good bye.  It was drivable, but having transmission problems, so we decided to have it towed.  I may or may not have watched it all the way to the end of the street and turn the corner.  It was a great car and as my first "big girl purchase of my own".

However, we welcomed this new ride to the family...a 2014 Honda Pilot.

Poor Jeremy...I told him to lose his "man card" for the day so Big Dave could work his magic.  He did, and we both learned a lot as well that day.  Big Dave is the man!

Pierson had two birthday parties one Saturday a few weeks ago and he had fun.  One was for his buddy across the street, and of course I got no pictures.  The other was one of his friends at school, Cooper.  I didn't get any of the bday boy though  : )

I took Pierson to his first official dentist appointment.  We have been talking it up, and I actually thought he would do better than he did.  Um...not so much.  I had to hold him down.  Good times....

The excitement at the dentist ended here....

and here.....

and here.....

and then our name was called, and it was all over from there.  I think I am going to volunteer daddy for next time.

Pierson and his friend /neighbor Devin decided it would be fun to pee outside together....

We are also not afraid to make other pit stops when nature calls.  The Home Depot parking lot has been "marked" in the same spot numerous times by both Pierson and Devin.  True story...

We took the kids to Hope Park in Frisco one morning to play....

Jeremy and I have a new niece, Olivia Madison Reed.  Jeremy's older brother Shane and his wife Daniela welcomed her on March 25, 2014.

Hallie still thinks her brother is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  He really is sweet to her.  If she is crying he will go over to her and say "its okay sissy, I'm right here".  I know this phase won't last forever, so I will soak it up while I can.

And finally....this girl....this girl.  SHE IS A MESS.  She is so much busier than her brother was (I think) and she is into everything.  She gets more bruises than her brother, she falls and hurts herself more, and the list goes on and on.

I know I have mentioned this before, but this child LOVES food.  She knows when we are going to eat soon and gets soooo excited.  I might possibly be able to put a frog in front of her and she would eat that as well.

Pierson's dump truck is her new favorite.  She loves to sit in and be pushed around.

Obviously you can tell from the pictures that a. (they are from a cell phone) and b. (my children are not lacking any toys).  I am tempted to get rid of most of them.  We will see if that happens.
