Swim Lessons

Pierson took swim lessons over the summer.  One class in July and another in August / September, and he did SOOO well.  He is jumping off of the diving board and swimming by himself without floaties.  My assumption is that he will regress some over the winter, but hopefully he will pick it right back up.  This boy is not a fan of having water splashed in his face (who is?) but he is doing much better.  He absolutely refused to jump off the diving  board at the beginning of lessons and now loves doing it!!  And yes...I did use bribery (ice cream) at the beginning to get him to jump off the diving board.

The lessons were through Frisco Swim and we were very pleased.  The class only had Pierson and one other child (same age).  Pierson is always asking when he can go to swim lessons again.  Might be a big cheesy, but I was so excited when he was swimming all by himself and jumping off the diving board.  I took way too many videos.  Very proud moment for me!!

August / September 2014

Pierson and Hallie started going to Primrose in June and it is one of the best decisions we ever made.  Ages 3 and up have to wear a uniform during the school year!  Here are my kiddos on the "1st day of school".

1st Day...

2nd Day...

August and September brought snakes to our home...

Pierson and I went to Hawaiian Falls one day with my mom and cousin and he had a blast....

Sister always enjoys waking up her bubba.  Side note...P is getting too big for this fire truck bed.  Now...if I can just convince him that the full size bed we have for him is "really fun".

Daddy is a sucker for letting her pick out a toy! Oh...and doing nothing with her hair!!  :)  I really really really wish she would let me put a bow in her hair.  However, she will have NOTHING to do with it.  She immediately pulls them out.

Sports day at school.....

Pierson absolutely loves his sister!!  He is in a very sweet stage right now, and he is always saying "sissy I love you"  "sissy come love me", "sissy I just hit my head...come make me feel better", etc. etc.

Pierson gave daddy a lesson one day when he dropped him off at school....

 Lots of play time outside....
