Hallie and the baby

Hallie always has the baby in the picture not far from her when she is sleeping.  Not sure why...but I felt the need to go take a picture several nights to see where the baby was :)  Just thought it they were cute!

This was after a nap one day

Ugly Tennis

This past weekend, there was an alumni tennis tournament for those that played at Mansfield and also for those that played at Walnut Creek Country Club.  I believe about 22 showed up.  It was a good time.  I haven't played tennis in years and I miss it.  I used to be good at tennis, and it was not a pretty site this past weekend.  I knew I would get mad and I did.  Oh well...life goes on :)

Linc Moss, Ernie Abraham, Coach and Big Dave...quite the crew...

Coach Averyt...a great coach and even more importantly a great man!!  Couldn't have asked for a better coach when I was in High School.  Love that man!!  Added bonus...he is being inducted into the Mansfield ISD Athletics Hall of Honor next month.  Well deserved!!!!

Dorothy in her hat.  The only thing missing is her umbrella from back in the day...

Group shot (minus a few)... Some of the people I did not even know.  (I'm old)

To add to my bad playing, I took an ugly fall on the court.  I survived...but it was not a pretty picture.

All about P

Our big boy is now a 3 year old (June 3).  We went to see Dr. Schwartz and Pierson was 40 Pounds (97%), and 41 3/4" tall (99%).  There is a good chance this boy will be over six feet tall.  Jeremy is so happy about that!!  He mostly wears size 5T but the shirts are starting to get too small.  He wears a size 11 shoe and can go through a pair of tennis shoes very quickly...and it doesn't matter if they are cheap or expensive!!

Pierson LOVES him some sugar!!

Riding in the train at the mall...

If I had a dollar for every question he asked throughout the day I would be very wealthy.
Pierson:  "Mom what kind of truck is that?"
Me:  "Pierson it is a red truck"
Pierson:  "I know mommy but , what kind of truck is that?"
Pierson:  "Mommy what kind of school bus is that?"
Me:  "Pierson it is a yellow school bus"
Pierson:  "But what kind of school bus?"
Jeremy and I eventually have to start making things up because he won't stop...haha.

Most of the time he is a great big brother.  He still calls her Sissy.  I guess that is our fault, since we call her that most of the time.  He is going through a phase where he wants to pick her up all the time.  However, she is only about 10 or so pounds lighter than him.  Needless to say that is not working out real well yet.  They wrestle and literally throw each other on the ground.  I am pretty certain that Hallie will be able to take him down in no time.  Don't mess with her!!!
He continues to talk and talk and talk and never stop talking  :)  He still has a hard time saying "look".  Instead it comes out as "fook".  Doesn't that sound lovely??

The below pic is blurry, but I just Love it.

The big boy wants to do everything on his own...EVERYTHING.  His favorite TV shows are Paw Patrol, Mickey, Peppa Pig (ugh), and Jake & the Never Land Pirates.  His imagination is unbelievable.  He is always pretending to be different things.  He loves when we read books to him, and he has memorized some of the books and what they say on each page...crazy.  He knows most of the Pledge of Allegiance and knows most of the months of the year.  I think he learned that by singing a song at school.  He has been potty trained for about a year.  He still wears a pull up at night time, and I am okay with that  :)  He loves looking for bugs, especially rolly pollies, riding his bike, his scooter and driving his sister around in his beloved jeep.

Apparently coloring all over the couch up stairs is a grand idea....and he didn't just stop with this portion of the couch.

Kinda silly, but I was so proud when he brought this to me one day and said "look mama, I made an H".

Here is P telling me what to do..ha.  He informed me that he was the teacher and I needed to sit down.  Sounds like someone may hear this at school.

Little man still gets so excited to see me when I pick him up everyday.  Picking the kiddos up might be my favorite part of the day  : )  We could not love our sweet P more.  He really is a sweet kid, but at the end of the day he is a boy :)  He is pretty sensitive and if I hurt myself, have a band aid, on etc, he will say "its okay mama".  We can not wait to see what God has in store for your future!!
