Pierson's 8th Birthday

Our big boy turned 8 on June 3rd.  He is still just the sweetest kid around and we are so thankful for him.  His heart is larger than life, and he would do anything for anyone!  At his 8 year well check he was 89.6 pounds and 56 1/2 inches tall!  He is still our big, tall boy :)

He didn't have a big party this year, because we headed to San Antonio a few days after his birthday!

His teacher celebrated his birthday during one of the last days of school.  His birthday always falls right after school is out...so he doesn't get to really celebrate it at school with friends.

She can be sweet...

We had a little impromptu gathering at the neighborhood pool on his actual birthday.

Last Day of School 2018/2019 School Year

Kindergarten was the absolute BEST for Hallie.  Her teacher, Ms. Clark was the PERFECT fit for our wild child.  Literally...answered prayers from God.  Whitney loved (and still does) Hallie even on the hard days, and Hallie absolutely adores her.  This child, survived and thrived and it was so fun to watch!  She got awards for Perfect Attendance, Reading, and most likely to be a teacher...aka she's bossy!  Hallie love school and loves to learn.  She picked up reading so well in Kinder and has been reading chapter books.  W are so proud of our Kinder graduate.  Can't wait to see what is in store for 1st grade!!

Pierson had a fantastic 2nd grade year.  We are super proud of all of his accomplishments.  His love for reading has continued to grow and he can't get enough history.  He asks us questions sometimes and we don't know the answers....and/or he gives us history facts and I assume they are correct.  Ms. K, would often tell me that she didn't even have the answers for some of the stuff he asks.  LOL.  He received awards for Perfect Attendance, Most Athletic, and the Social Studies award.

Hallie "Grit" award May 2019

Hallie received the "Grit" award at school.

Spring 2019 Field Trips

All of second grade in Frisco goes to the Heritage Museum.  I have to admit it was super boring.  HA.

All of the Kinder FISD classes go to Safety Town for their Spring field trip and the kids always have a blast.  This is located at the fire departments central station and it is a small "town" that is built and the kids get to drive jeeps and be pedestrians.  They go back in 4th grade to ride bikes!

The next four pics are so funny!  Hallie has LOVED her teacher this year and literally tries to hang from her.  HA

Mayfest 2019

We actually had a free weekend at the beginning of May so we decided to head to Fort Worth for a day of fun!  My mother in law came along as well.

Jeremy decided to ride this with the kids and they were all smiles the entire time!
