4th O' July

We all headed up to Sanger to celebrate the 4th of July.  Papaw and JoJo always have a big get together for on the 4th.  We...well actually I debated on whether or not to head up there earlier in the day or stay home and let P take a nap.  We decided to let P nap, so he would last a little bit longer during fire works.

Before lunch and nap time, we played outside for a little while.  The weather was perfect and unusually cool for this time of year.

While in Sanger, the little man got to swim in the pool.  He actually enjoyed jumping into the water with mommy as well.  Sissy also got to enjoy some time with JoJo.

and take a nap on Papaw....

Sissy also got festive in her outfit from DotDot.  Yes people, that is a bow on my daughter's head.  I am working on being more "girly".

Papaw and JoJo bought this for all the grand kids, and P sure enjoys it.  He makes his momma nervous by climbing all the way to the top though....

Once it started getting dark, everyone gathered their fireworks that they brought.  The guys are absolutely crazy when it comes to this stuff.  Seriously...Jeremy was like a kid in a candy store.  He couldn't get enough of it.  I don't think he likes watching them...he likes shooting them off.

Pierson was not a huge fan of all the big fireworks.  I didn't really think he would be.  He is not very fond of loud noises right now.  Once they really started getting loud, he and I went inside and outside, and inside and outside...you get the point.  He was telling everyone "fireworks scare me".  Sissy was being held by Aunt Kay at this point.  Aunt Kay always takes her away from me when she is around.  I am not complaining one bit...gives this momma a break.

I have a few other cute photos, but for some reason I can't get them on the computer.  Grrrrr.  I will just have to add them later.  We had a great 4th of July, and maybe sweet P will enjoy them a little more next year with Hallie??

This & That

We have had lots of activities going on around our house lately.  Not anything out of the ordinary....just crazy busy as ALWAYS.

A couple weekends ago we had some friends over to play in our backyard.

P's buddy Devin.  I love this picture of the two of them.  Devin is the same age as P (about 2 months older), but he lives across the street and they always have a good time together.  Devin inspired us to start potty training Pierson.  More on that later......

Cousin "cina" or Celina to most people had a bowling birthday party the same weekend.  Pierson had sooo much fun bowling with everyone.

P also enjoyed a game of naked golf....

and a little bit of naked mowing.....

Daddy and sissy just hangin out....

On another note...how much "crap" can one household have in their backyard?  I am working on operation get rid of a lot of "stuff" right now.  Hope it works....

One more pic of the little diva patiently waiting to eat.

Father's Day Weekend

Pierson and Hallie truly have THE. BEST. DAD. ever.  They are so blessed to have him as their daddy, and I am equally as blessed to have him as a husband.  He takes good care of us, and spends so much time with the kiddos.  We are lucky!!

On Saturday JoJo and Papaw came over and spent the day with us.

Doesn't he look thrilled???

Sissy started running a low grade fever that evening.  Not sure why, but her little "fang" teeth are trying to come through...still!!  Did I mention that I absolutely HATE teething???

We were not in church on Father's Day, and I can't remember why??  I made some homemade blueberry muffins out of a box  : ), and then we all went outside while daddy mowed the yard before it got too hot.

Pierson of course helped and he could not forget the bike helmet for extra safety....oh and also can't forget the purple swim shorts...ha.

A pic of the princess before she had her blow out  : )  I also just realized that she had the perfect bib on for that day!

We also made daddy a present out of sidewalk chalk.....

Pierson made this for daddy at school.....

After a nap we headed out to get P a new pair of shoes.  Not sure if I mentioned this before, but he totally skipped size 8 and he now wears a size 9.  I picked out bright yellow  : )
