A weekend with Dot Dot and Big Dave

Did I mention hat I love my father being retired?!?!  All kidding aside...my kids love going to my parent's house and they always make it so much fun for them.

They took the kids to the J.L Boren playground.  Pierson was so excited to come home and tell me that he played on the slides that I did when I was a kid.  It took a little bit of explaining for him to understand that it was a new school where the old school was located.

Pumpkin Patch fun....

Pierson was scared to ride the pony so Hallie rode it twice.  This child is not afraid of anything!!

Pierson was so proud of this creation.

Ahh..my children shirtless and in their underwear / panties.

My parents usually meet Jeremy at one of the fire stations in Carrollton for pick up.  Of course, the kids don't have a problem with that.  Pierson always wants to now where the chief is.

And why not add some ice cream for the ride home...

Big Orange Pumpkin Farm

Last weekend we took the kids to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm about 20 minutes north of our house.  It is nothing too fancy, but the kids had a good time.  We got there a few minute after they opened, so there wasn't many people there yet, which was nice.

Of course, I couldn't get Hallie to cooperate for one of these pictures.  Trying to get her to take a pictures is like trying to catch a snake.  Ugh..

 Real life people....

A little big for that tractor, buddy...

Sweet hugs.  He sure does love his sister.

Hallie wasn't too sure about the hay ride at first...

I love this picture...

Pierson absolutely LOVED petting all of the animals there.

At least one of us was looking....
