Hallie -1 Year

Our sweet, DRAMA filled, Hallie is now 1.  It feels like we just brought her home from the hospital.  She is busy, busy, busy, and arguably much busier than her demanding (almost 3 year old) big brother is.  She never stops...ever.  She still loves her brother more than anything, and if she hears my voice and I am not around she does not like it.  When we tell her 'no", she just looks at us and laughs...over and over again.  She is a spitting image of her father, and I have decided that both her and her brother are paying us back for Jeremy's childhood...really!

We visited Dr. Schwartz, or as Pierson calls him, Dr. Shorts last week.  She was 21 lbs, 5oz (49%), her height was 28 1/2" (24%) and her head was 17 3/4 inch (46%).  Baby girl LOVES her some food.  It doesn't matter what it is, she literally can not get the food in her mouth fast enough.  Last night we met my brother, Alicia and Adisyn at a restaurant and baby girl had one of those Gerber Graduate pasta meals (I know probably not good for her), an entire bag of yogurt melts, some chicken nuggets, almost an entire banana and a few bites of a tortilla.  She would eat all day long if we let her, and she happens to love her milk just as much as her big brother did/does.  She is still drinking lactose free milk and has been on a sippy cup for 3-4months now.

It is hard to tell, but in the below pic, Pierson is putting his hand in front of her head so she won't hit on the windshield when he stops.  He can be such a sweetie sometimes....

She appears to be more interested in what is on the ground....

I couldn't leave out the next four pics from when she was a sick little girl  :(

Her bottom two teeth finally poked through right after her 1st birthday.  I'll admit, I have been wondering if she even had teeth.  All I need is one more thing to stress about.....

She loves taking baths, and has mastered the art of throwing every toy in the bathtub on the ground.  She is also very good at taking cups full of water and dumping them all over the bathroom floor.  Good times.  Of course, we tell her "no", and she just laughs.  She seems to always find Pierson's dirty clothes (especially his underwear)...I know gross, and bring them back to him.  She continues to walk over the place and she just shakes her big ole' booty while doing it.  For real people...this little girl has a booty on her.  I think it is her way of telling everyone that she is in charge.  Hallie girl loves to climb up into her rocking chair, on the fireplace and on the stairs, and on anything else she can.  She will stand there, and wait for you to see her, and then she darts for one of those places because she knows that she shouldn't be on them.  What am I going to do with this child???  She really loves to be held...like all the time, and she really likes for her momma to hold her!  I am certainly okay with that, but baby girl is getting a little big for that.  Pierson still refers to her as Sissy, but will sometimes call her Hallie, but it just depends on his mood.

She really isn't talking that much.  She has said "mama" and "hi".  She will point to her nose when asked, and sometimes just sticks her finger as far up her nose as she can...awesome.  When you ask her to point to her ears, she will, and then proceeds to hit her hands on both sides of her had as quickly as she can...awesome.

That bumbo provides countless "minutes" of entertainment for her....

This is a perfect example of how wild this child is......
Check that bruise out??!!??!!

Side note...Jeremy's pants are not pulled up to his chest in the below pic...lol.  This pic makes them look that way...ha.

Reading some of her Bible...

Hallie, your mommy and daddy, and bubba love you so much.  Wow...you are going to be a difficult one.  I say that with Love!!  I can say, that I think you might be busier than your brother ever was, and I did not know that was actually possible.  Little girl, we love you to the moon and back, and are so thankful to God for allowing us to be your parents!!
