Hallie is 2

Sweet Hallie turned 2 on January 23.  She is lucky enough to share a birthday with her Dot Dot and her Uncle Michael.  This little diva keeps us all on our toes.  She can be super sweet one minute and the next minute she is throwing a tantrum on the floor.

We visited Dr. Schwartz a couple weeks ago and she weighed 29 pounds (76%), she was 34 1/4" tall (57%) and her head was 19" (69%).

Refusing to walk and sitting on the ground because your mad always works well....

Life is just really tough sometimes....

She still adores her brother, and her daddy is her absolute favorite person on the planet.  She walks around saying "silly bubba"  "silly mama" "silly daddy" constantly, she knows most of her colors and is saying two and three word sentences.  Her hair has grown so fast, and it is almost half way down her back.  I was hoping she would have thick hair like myself and her brother, but as of right now she has thin hair...but a lot of it.  Sometimes fixing her hair is pointless, as it is already destroyed by the time we leave the house...oh and I might as well forget trying to put a bow in her hair.  Not happening.

Sister has used the potty a few times and is ready to be potty trained.  Now mama, just needs to find the time to stick to a three day method.  This child will sit on the toilet all day if we let her.  Unfortunately, I think she feels that is a game right now.  Hopefully that will change!!

She loves playing with cousin Adisyn....

Just an evening face time chat with Dot Dot and Big Dave...

Sadly, one of her favorite activities is to sit inside mommy or daddy's car and play and push all of the buttons.

She has shown no interest in jumping and/or climbing out of her crib.  So...now that I wrote that, I am sure she will.  Pierson was already in a toddler bed by this time, so we will see how much longer this last.

Hallie runs everywhere she goes, and is ALWAYS on the move.  I don't recall Pierson ever being this busy.  However, it is likely that I have lost multiple brain cells since having kids.

She still loves her milk...but is really enjoying having chocolate put in there. When she walks around she says "choc milk", but in the voice of those people who sell things at the Ranger games..ha.  She will drink water, but has no interest in drinking juice.  Luckily she still remains a pretty good eater.

Hallie always says "fum here" (come here) and motions at us with her hands.  Her answer to most things is "no thank you".

I have taught her to say important things like "mommy is cool" and "daddy is stinky".  She will proudly say "I'm ornery" and "I'm diva".  Those two things sum her up pretty well :)

This sweet girl will pick her brother, hit him, etc....but whenever she helps herself to food, she always gets two so she can share with Pierson.

Hallie Anne, we love you so very much!!  God definitely blessed us with a cute, sweet (most of the time) little princess who now runs this house!!
